VISANOW
helps Diebold complete last minute
H-1B
Diebold is a company built on
providing cutting-edge technology
and superior customer service. As a
leading global supplier of
self-service delivery and security
systems, including ATMs, it is
critical that they recruit workers
with the skills needed to keep the
company moving forward. With a
promise of “We Won’t Rest” until a
measurable difference is made for
every customer, it isn’t surprising
that Diebold expects the same
service from its own suppliers.
Diebold found
itself growing out of the scope
manageable by the traditional law
firm that had been handling its
immigration matters. “The attorneys
just couldn’t handle the volume of
cases anymore,” explained Carrie
Ball, Diebold’s Senior International
Human Resource Representative. With
only a couple of attorneys working
in a traditional practice, response
time to Diebold’s questions and
concerns were frequently less than
optimal. Not to mention, all
employee communications with the
attorneys and vice versa had to be
channeled through Ball. Diebold
needed an immigration service
provider that could deliver a
substantially higher level of
responsiveness and accountability –
while also managing the growing
volume of cases.
VISANOW’s
patented technology allows clients
to quickly move through the
form-intensive process and takes
much of the heavy administrative
work from the attorneys, leaving
them more time to address client’s
concerns and questions promptly.
Applicants have direct access to
VISANOW’s expert legal team, no
longer forcing the HR representative
to act as middleman. VISANOW’s focus
on customer service and
significantly higher productivity
than traditional firms made it the
obvious choice for Diebold’s
immigration matters.
Ball quickly
found that VISANOW’s impressive
customer service could immediately
shift into high gear and smoothly
move through obstacles when
necessary. She received a call on a
Friday afternoon from an employee
who needed to apply for an H-1B
visa. To be accepted into the H-1B
lottery, the application had to be
mailed by the following day.
Figuring it was probably a lost
cause, Ball called Kris Hettrick,
VISANOW’s client relationship
manager, for advice. Ball recalled,
“I knew VISANOW already had hundreds
of H-1B cases. But Kris said, “Let’s
try.” The employee worked in our
headquarters building so we were
able to send all the documents to
VISANOW by the end of the day. They
must’ve worked nonstop, but they
submitted the app on time.”
VISANOW’s
emphasis on helping clients plan
ahead gives Ball confidence that
rush cases like that one will
continue to be the exception rather
than the rule. “I’ve already gotten
a reminder email from VISANOW about
getting H-1B cases prepared in early
March so they will be ready for
filing right away,” added Ball.
“The resources
on the website make it easy to get
questions answered, even if you’re
not familiar with the process,” Ball
said. “VISANOW has made my life, in
particular, so much easier and made
moving forward easier for the
company.” |
