Robert C. Meltzer
Chairman

Robert C. Meltzer has taken VISANOW from concept to reality and now leads the company in its pursuit
of revolutionizing immigration process management. Beginning his career at the legal office of the United
Nations World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, Robert concentrated on public international law,
international contracts and international copyright. Upon returning to the U.S. in 1986, he entered private
practice where he continued in international law and expanded his practice to include immigration law. After
practicing immigration law for over 15 years, he realized the potential to utilize technology to streamline
the management of the immigration process and founded VISANOW.
Robert received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder; a Juris
Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law and additional certificates and diplomas from the
Henri Dunant Institute in Geneva, Switzerland; The Institute de Internationale Droits de L'homme in
Strasbourg, France; and the University of Salzburg/McGeorge School of Law in Salzburg, Austria.
Phil Schlein
Director

Phil is a Venture Partner with USVP. He joined the venture capital firm in 1985 after a successful
28-year career as an executive in the retailing industry. Prior to USVP, he served as President and
CEO of Macy's California and led the store's sales growth from $200 million to nearly $1.2 billion
and profit growth from $17 million to $108 million. He also worked for R.H. Macy, Inc. and served on
the Board of Directors for Apple Computers from 1979 to 1987.
With USVP, Phil has originated a number of consumer/retail industry investments, including PETsMART,
Fresh Choice and The House of Blues. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Catalist,
Specialtys, Auction Drop and Oakville Grocery. In recent years, he served on the Boards of Directors
of notable Internet and eCommerce ventures, such as iVillage, HomeGrocer.com and NBCi.
Phil is a guest lecturer in graduate classrooms at Stanford and Santa Clara University. He has two children,
four grandchildren, and a 300-year old elder he looks up to: Emily, a magnificent oak in the center of his
Napa Valley property. He has a vineyard where he grows mostly Cabernets. Phil is on the boards of the California
College of Art, the San Francisco Botanical Gardens and the diRosa Preserve, a project in the Napa Valley that
is seeking to create a public museum to show Rene diRosa's private collection of California artists.
Sam Morasca
Director

With nearly 30 years of international business experience for Shell Oil Company and its affiliates, Sam has
taken on the role of advising VISANOW on sales, marketing and business growth strategies.
Sam's areas of expertise include sales and marketing, product development, project management, organizational
development, financial and investment analysis and board directorships. In his last position, Vice President
Marketing, he managed US oil products marketing for Shell, Texaco and Saudi Aramco Alliance. He captured cost
reduction/synergy benefits of over $250 million per year, which was a 50 percent improvement over previous
expenditures. While serving as Vice President Marketing for Shell's US oil products wholesale and retail
business, he conceived and oversaw implementation of new product extension initiatives and joint ventures,
which generated over $1 billion of new business.
In addition to serving on a number of boards, Sam is an Executive Professor at the University of Houston
Graduate Business School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State and MBA from Boston College.
Glenn Gottfried
Director

Glenn is the CEO of Infolure, a company that specializes in data management and marketing applications. Glenn's
areas of expertise include product development, business process transformation, information and technology
management and new business start-up. Prior to his position at Infolure, Glenn served as the President of
Thomson TFP, a software and directory publishing firm serving the financial services industry. He led the
transformation of TFP into a highly profitable, growth oriented web-enabled solutions company significantly
increasing revenue from information technology products. Prior to Thomson, Glenn held upper management
positions with OMGEO and Midwest Securities Trust Company among others.
In addition to VISANOW, Glenn serves on the Board of Advisors for the College of Engineering and Mathematical
Sciences for the University of Vermont and Bankers Toolbox, Inc. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree
from the University of Vermont along with a Masters of Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Glenn also received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Pong Lim
Director

Mr. Lim has over 25 years of hands-on successful experience in investing and managing high technology private
and public companies. Mr. Lim has served as Chairman and CEO for start-ups, buyouts and turnarounds after
re-founding Ditech Communications (DITC) in 1994 and grew it to IPO in 1999. In year 2000, Mr. Lim has
established Lim Capital Group to invest in venture capital, private equity and hedge funds.
Since year 2000,
Mr. Lim has co-founded and invested in companies that target VoIP communications, optical network communications,
wireless networking and Internet based e-commerce markets. Previously, Pong held general management,
engineering and finance positions at Alcatel/DSC/Granger Associates, Fairchild Semiconductors, and Protor & Gamble.
