Comprehensive Immigration Reform
(CIR) refers to the legislation
pending in the U.S. Congress which
addresses a number of immigration
issues. These include a
process for the legalization of the
millions of undocumented immigrants
in the U.S., a temporary worker
program and improved verification
processes for employers.

executive order demanding
all federal contractors
participate in the
Department of Homeland
Security’s (DHS) E-Verify
program, a system to verify
the employment status of
their staff.
