Before joining General Catalyst Partners, Brian Shortsleeve was at H.I.G. Capital, a middle-market private equity fund where he worked on a variety of investments in the business services, information technology products and services, value-added manufacturing, and software industries. Before H.I.G. Capital, he was a consultant with Bain & Company in Boston, advising middle-market corporate clients on growth strategy, merger integration, and cost rationalization.
