The article advises companies to start preparing now for their H-1B visa petition(s) to be ready to file on April 1, the first day USCIS accepts fiscal year 2017 cap-subject H-1B petitions for employees starting work on Oct. 1, 2016. Gillespie was quoted as saying, “By starting early, you are likely to get more attention from your attorney and more time to correct and identify any possible issues.”
