Work

Work Authorization is granted to anyone wishing to work in France. The most common category is the Temporary Secondment. The process starts by filing for the work authorization from the Ministry of Labor. The Agence Nationale de l’Accueil des Etrangers et des Migrations National (ANAEM) will send the approval to the France Consulate in the employee’s home country. The employee will apply for the entry visa at the Consulate. Upon approval the employee can enter France. The next step is to undergo a medical exam and begin the residence permit process.

Business

Short term Schengen Visa is issued for applicants going to France for simple business. The Schengen Visa allows for entry to 24 Schengen member states: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Czeck Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. The maximun stay in country is 90 days.

Study

There are two types of student visas: one for stays longer than 90 days and one issued for short stays less than 90 days. The visa applied for will be determined by the academic program the applicant is attending in France.

Visit/Family/Marriage
