U.S. Visas: G-3

A G-3 visa is issued to representatives of an international organization either from a government that is not recognized by the U.S. or that is not a member of the international organization. The family and household staff of the primary G-3 visa holder may also be admitted to the U.S. as G-3 visa holders.

What are the Requirements for a G-3 Visa?

Can G-3 Dependents be Employed?

Dependents of the G-3 visa holder may work under certain circumstances i.e. if there is a formal bilateral employment agreement between or informal reciprocal agreement if they are a national of that country. The employment application must first by made to the Department of State and then, if approved, be made to the USCIS.

How Long is the G-3 Visa Valid?

A G-3 visa holder is admitted to the U.S. indefinitely, and may remain as in the U.S. as long as the Department of State continues to recognize him/her.
