U.S. Visas: P-3

A P-3 visa is issued to individuals or groups coming to the U.S. to perform, teach or coach in a culturally unique program. P-3 classification also includes essential support personnel for the primary P-3 applicant.

What are the Requirements for a P-1 Visa?

VISANOW can prepare and file the P-1 application if the applicant is presently in the U.S. in valid status or if the applicant is outside the U.S.

The P-3 visa applicant must be coming to the U.S. temporarily to and solely for the purpose of performing in a culturally unique program.

The P-3 applicant must show that he/she is an artists, entertainer that are coming to the U.S. for the purpose of developing, interpreting, representing, coaching, or teaching a unique or traditional ethnic, folk, cultural, musical, theatrical or artistic performance or presentation. The artist or entertainer must be coming to the U.S. to participate in a commercial or noncommercial cultural event which will further understanding or development of his or her art form.

How Long Is The P-3 Visa Valid?

A P-3 visa holder is admitted for the time necessary to complete the culturally unique event or program up to one year. The P-3 visa holder may apply for extensions in one year increments.
