G-2 Visa


A G-2 visa is issued to an accredited representative (not included in the G-2 classification) of an international organization from a country recognized by the U.S. The family and household staff of the primary G-2 visa holder may also be admitted to the U.S. as G-2 visa holders.

What are the Requirements for a G-2 Visa?

Representatives of a recognized government traveling to the U.S. temporarily to attend meetings of a designated international organization are eligible for G-2 visas. The G-2 visa applicant must be coming to the U.S. to perform official duties at an international organization.
